Texting with an Archivist II: Sara Georgini

Sara Georgini, the historian who inspired this series, has contributed to Smithsonian and CNN and is the author of Household Gods: The Religious Lives of the Adams Family.

It’s been six years since I interviewed Dr. Sara Georgini for my Audible podcast “Presidents Are People Too!” and I can’t imagine my professional life without her—even if I wanted to! Sara, a Series Editor for The Papers of John Adams at the Massachusetts Historical Society, is so good, so helpful, and so well liked, she’s co-founded and held leadership positions in the most interesting organizations and resources, from the Society of U.S. Intellectual History to the The Junto.

She’s also fun. Sara’s messages inspired this series, “Texts with an Archivist,” and last Thursday, she finally became the subject of it.
