I get your point and I applaud your sentiment, but (and I’m sure you know this) the Union soldiers in May 1865 did not “slog” down Pennsylvania Avenue - they marched very proudly as shown in photographs m - and those were, sadly, not Abraham Lincoln’s lampposts. He had been assassinated a month earlier. They were Andrew Johnson’s. As we oppose disinformation, it’s important to be accurate ourselves. Please know that I’m a huge fan of yours.
